Madeira - Canaries (Santa Cruz of Tenerife) - Marocco (Dakhla) - Senegal - Cape Verde - Salvador do Bahia - João Pessoa - Fernando do Noronha - Fortaleza - Soure - Belém - Transamazon - French Guyana (Kourou)

• 11/10/09 :
Madeira (Marina de Quinta do Lorde). Rendez-vous at 9H00 at the latest

• 18/10/09 :
Official start of the 15th edition of the RALLYE DES ILES DU SOLEIL to Tenerife 

This leg will bring the flotilla to Santa Cruz of Tenerife, in Marina del Atlantico, at heart of town.

• 24/10/09 : crossing towards Dakhla

Rendez-vous at Dakhla. A new call in the middle of the desert

• 30/10/09 : crossing toward Dakar

This leg will take the fleet to Dakar and then into the bolongs of the Saloum

• 06/11/09 : en route for the Saloum

• 12/11/09 : back to Dakar

• 15/11/09 : heading for Cape Verde where the crews will discover Mindelo, on the island of São Vicente.

• from 31/11 to 02/12/09 : start of the Atlantic crossing, towards Salvador de Bahia.

The yachts will leave Mindelo to cross the Atlantic and the Equator heading for Salvador de Bahia, getting there before Christmas (14 to 20/12/2009)

From 20th December2009 to 20th January 2010 :  exploring Brazil. A stopover of 4 weeks spent sailing and travelling ! You will sail in the “bay of all the saints”, travel by bus or plane into the interior of Brazil or elsewhere in South America.

21st January 2010 : the boats assemble at Salvador do Bahia.

BOAT POSITIONS

A tracking beacon lets us follow the boats at regular intervals thanks to its integrated GPS receiver ! Positions are available on a chart displayed on the Internet.

The yachts and their crews will leave Salvador for Belém via João Pessoa, Fernando de Noronha, Fortaleza and Soure.

22nd January 2010 : start from Salvador do Bahia.

07 March 2010 : Official start of the 10th Transamazon Rally for 5 weeks of adventure on the Amazon between the island of Marajó, Santarém/Alter do Chão and Afuá.
